Air/hydraulic pneumatic jacks use shop air to lift very heavy vehicles quickly from a low starting height. They are the standard tool for truck, bus, agricultural and construction equipment service, where loads run from tens of thousands of pounds upward.
Size for heavy loads. Choose a capacity that covers the heaviest axle or lift point with a safety margin, especially for loaded trucks and equipment.
Check the stages and heights. Multi-stage jacks start low and extend high; compare minimum height, maximum height and extension pieces against your vehicles.
Make sure your shop air supply meets the jack's pressure requirements, and look for long handles that keep the operator clear of the load.
Shop air drives a hydraulic pump inside the jack, which raises the ram. It gives very high lifting capacity with little effort from the operator.
Requirements vary by model, so check the specifications on each product page. Most models run on standard shop air.
